Skill Pill Mobile Video Learning

by: Bena Roberts Thursday, March 6th, 2008

I was looking around for some nifty educational stroke video communication services.  I have been asked to write a feature on Mobile Video and I wanted to find some innovative applications to include.

Then I came across Skill Pill.

What?
Skill Pill is not a drug and its not difficult to swallow either. Its a mobile learning service.  Basically Skill Pills are two minute long video clips for mobile learning applications that run on mobile. They help trainers to do and give demos to facilitate the training.

How?
The pill is delivered to your phone via an SMS and acts as a memory prompt. The briefing is succinct and concise providing information to managers or trainers instantly.

The information is presented in video.

But what or where is the revenue?

These Skill Pill videos are customised for corporations. There is also Skill Pill training and on top of that there are off the shelf Skill Pills for users to handle media interviews or presentations.

What we think?
I like it. It’s simple and a great new innovative way of using mobile video.

Glad you like Skill-Pill, Bena. Your readers might like to know that they can buy 10 pills for 30 euros.
