Rating: Now if I have 10 phones/sim cards that’s 10 free pints…sweet!!!!!

Strongbow, owned by Scottish & Newcastle PLC, have launched a UK based mobile campaign called ‘Bowtime” according to New Media Age.

They say: The campaign starts on 21 May and will run on Tuesdays for four weeks. Vouchers can only be redeemed on Tuesday’s during ‘Bowtime’ which is between 5pm-7pm.

Customers can text a shortcode and in return will receive a voucher which can be exchanged for a pint.

We Say: No news on what kind of voucher they are using for the campaign, no news of the number either…lol I wonder how many pubs will actually be able to use this? What paper trail is there?? How will the voucher get deleted and not used over and over again?? and how will the pubs send the voucher to Strongbow to reclaim the cider given away?? hmmm..makes me thirsty all this thinking :-)
