T-Mobile - 80% cut in EU Data Roaming Charges!!

What!! Well if your a T-Mobile customer get you, you mobile internet lovers. T-Mobile will, from 1st July, only charge £1.50 per Mb when roaming in the EU instead of the £7.50 it charges now.
That’s a whopping 80% reduction!

T-Mobile UK chief executive Jim Hyde said: “We’ve been working hard to drive efficiencies in our business in order to pass these savings on to our customers in a number of ways. These latest measures will allow our customers the confidence to use the internet and make calls as they would at home. This is no longer the domain of the prolific business user.”

The announcement by T-Mobile follows criticism by the EU and a warning that if the operators don’t reduce costs themselves the EU will pass legalisation to do so.

SMS prices will also be reduced in Europe confirmed T-Mobile, by 38%.

So no more excuses, get roaming and get surfing!
