T-Mobile gets sexy with the Ameo

Rating: not only is the new Deutsche Telekom board sexy, younger and fitter… so is the device range

The smartphone vs PDA debate might be in full swing - but T-Mobile is sitting on the PDA side with the launch of the new Ameo.

The Ameo is a mini-laptop style device with a 3 megapixel- autofocus camera, GPS, HSDPA/3G, EDGE/GPRS and W-LAN. But unlike the BRICK MDA-Pro launched a few years back the Ameo is quite sexy. It also boasts Windows Mobile 5 and the Microsoft E-Mail Push Solution.

The 8 GB hard drive will appeal to the enterprise market.. but it is unlikely the EUR 499,95 price tag will.
The Ameo will be out during CeBIT in March 2007.
