Some of the stats contained in the latest Mobile Update [December 2012] from Affiliate Window could prove to be gold dust for publishers and advertisers alike. Affiliate Window, which matches content publishers with advertisers, has just released its latest mobile and m-commerce figures here. They show how mobile is faring against traditional sales through the desktop. Crucially, Affiliate Window not only collects data on ‘mobile’ traffic but can break down that traffic into tablet and smartphones. Affiliate Window shares its mobile ad sales stats

Affiliate Window, which matches content publishers with advertisers, has just released its latest mobile and m-commerce figures from June [2012]. They show how mobile is faring against traditional sales through the desktop. The report shows that 12.63 per cent of Affiliate Window ‘s traffic is now mobile – that drops to 7.36 per cent if tablet traffic is removed. 8.26 per cent of all sales were through mobile devices (including tablets) or 3.32 per cent of sales if tablets are removed. Perhaps the most interesting figure is that mobile traffic is converting at 2.84 per cent. The report which you can download from here shows how that conversion rate compares by device.
