OMTP passes W3C’s 165 tests with BONDI

The Open Mobile Terminal Platform ( OMTP)  is pretty chuffed that its BONDI reference model is the first to be fully compliant with the W3C’s Widgets (1.0: Packaging and Configuration)  specification. It’s a big step towards cross-platform interoperable mobile phone widgets.

It could be regarded as something of a sledgehammer to crack a nut but Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) has come up with a memory card designed to make any application running on a Google/Android phone highly secure.
