Forget ringtones and wallpapers, the latest fad for mobile phone is evolving avatars. Or so Bluestreak Technology and Cellfish Media would have us believe. The first two avatars are Pilou the Hamster and Surimi the Fish.

David Nahmami from Orange spoke today at Web 2.0 on Orange Pikeo, Soundtribes and Bubbletop. I had seen a similar presentation nearly a year ago at Orange Partner Camp in Orlando.
