Orange Music Live service will offer live video streaming of major international artists and video-on-demand from the popular music Orange Warsaw Festival (June 13th-15th 2014) in Poland. The MNO [Mobile Network Operator] has struck a deal with music media company, LoveLive, to live stream selected highlights from the festival. Orange Music Live will be available across eight European countries including: – France, Poland, Spain, Romania, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Armenia and Moldova. Sadly not the UK, it seems. Orange has announced its partnership with music media company, LoveLive, to live stream selected highlights from the Orange Warsaw Festival (June 13th-15th 2014), a major European music event that Orange has sponsored since 2008. Orange is the first operator to partner with LoveLive to provide live music streaming across Europe. Orange Music Live will be available across eight European countries including France, Poland, Spain, Romania, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Armenia and Moldova providing selected live video streaming of performances by major international artists, to be unveiled in the coming weeks. Orange tries to offer free music on an HTC Mango phone

Rating: Just jump through all of these hoops …

GoMo News spotted a really intriguing offer being promoted to UK consumers which would appear to tick all of the boxes any music fan could possibly want. It’s just the number of hoops you have to go through to get there that is disastrous. For starters, the operator was offering free music streaming facility via an Orange service called Deezer. All you had to do then was pick one of Orange’s tariffs which falls under the Panther brand. Depending on the version of the Panther tariff, you could then get Deezer free via a facility the company calls ‘Swapables’. Next you can select a handset and a number of them use Windows Phone as their OS. The list includes the HTC Mozart. The last hoop involves whether the Mozart ships with the Mango release of Windows Phone (WP7). Even the company’s sales force doesn’t know the answer to that one. Continue reading

When you got your first mobile phone that could play MP3s, that was cool. When your mobile phone became able to buy and download music, that was even better. But that capability still isn’t widely spread, and is relatively underused.
