Double Click Servies Mobile Video Advertising in Silverlight for NBC

I love Silverlight. Double Click is not quite there on mobile but the press release does mention mobile – so it seems as though mobile ads (Google ads) will also be served on Microsoft’s Silverlight video services.

I read with great interest a news item on ‘crumbled cookies’ which appeared in the FT today. It seems that Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, blames the regulatory authorities for the mess surrounding the issue of diminished cookies.

Google Closes Acquisition of DoubleClick

It’s getting very hot in the 2.0 Conference in Berlin.  Operators are talking about selling profiles to Google.  Mobile Advertising is the key (full write up coming). But on top of that more danger for operators as Google closes the acquisition of DoubleClick.
