It is so obvious that Amazon is et to become the ‘next Apple’ that, “Even Inspector Clouseau* would not have difficulty working out that Amazon is a business with a deep interest in being a serious mobile player,” says Victor Basta, md with Magister Advisors. Apple is a hardware business which went e-commerce. Amazon is an e-commerce business that has gone hardware (read Kindle Fire). Sprint overshoots with EVO 4G advertising

4G Android smartphone from Sprint doubles up as a Wi-Fi hotspot

Fresh for CTIA, Sprint has announced what it claims is the first 4G/3G mobile smartphone in the world. The EVO 4G will run on the high-speed WiMAX networks that Sprint is rolling out along with its 51% owned wireless partner, Clearwire.
