The iPhone has had a troubled journey into South Korea. A playground fight of corporate proportions broke out because of the iPhone, and legal difficulties had to be overcome. But with the device finally launching, will it perform better than the disappointing Chinese launch?
Korea’s largest mobile operators trading slaps over iPhone
The two biggest operators in Korea are both in discussions with Apple to gain an exclusive deal on the iPhone. That in itself isn’t so surprising - you would expect every operator in a country to bid for the smartphone. What is surprising is the hair-pulling that has been going on between the two.
