EA Mobile will be selling Namco Bandai mobile games in Europe

Electronic Arts and Namco Bandai Networks Europe today announced they have signed a distribution agreement granting EA Mobile™, a division of Electronic Arts Inc., rights to publish existing and upcoming Namco Bandai titles across Europe, Russia, India, Latin America, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. The deal will not impact Namco Bandai’s North American distribution or its iPhone activities, both of which will continue to be handled by Namco Networks America Inc.

The content and app seller is reporting that both Blackberry and mobile games have been doing great business in the first half of 2009. Mobile games accounted for 25% of all apps sold in during H1, while for the first time Blackberry has become the dominant platform on the Handango buyers list.
