Rating: Customers can get a single SIM and single API

A highly significant initiative has been launched into the M2M (machine-to-machine communications) space by seven major global mobile network operators. They have entered into a memorandum of understanding to form an alliance to support a single, global platform that multinational businesses will leverage to enable connected devices in multiple countries. To do so, the operator alliance will be deploying Jasper Wireless‘ Control Centre platform to power their respective M2M services globally. The full list of operators includes: – KPN, NTT Docomo, Rogers Communications, Singtel, Telefonica, Telstra and Vimplecom. The initiative is open to other operators and welcomes new participants.
