According to Business and Leadership magazine Brandtone a mobile marketing company based in Ireland has received EUR 10 million in funding. The funding comes from Unilever and includes Belgian firm Verlinvest, Vision Private Equity and Enterprise Ireland.

Directly after yesterdays Nissan announcement EA Mobile and Unilever are teaming up to push both mobile advertising and mobile gaming. EA has provided Unilever with a selection of mobile games that it can give away for free with Pot Noodles. Hmmmm… I actually want some Pot Noodles now.
I don’t often laugh when I read the Wall Street Jornal–but when the marketing director at Unilever Marc Shaw states that barcodes and coupons have been a “Holy Grail thing that people have been trying to figure out”.
One can not help but snigger.
