Taptu: Realtimer in your hand…

Have you ever had thousands of people’s voices in your pocket or in the palm of your hand?  For those of us who are not criminally insane, this is now possible thanks to this announcement just made on the Taptu blog. The mobile search company have just teamed up with real-time social search company OneRiot to provide a mobile product which lets people find all the usual stuff, at the same time as keeping updated on Digg, Twitter and other social sharing sites.

This means those people who haven’t been made redundant, and can afford touch screen devices, can rattle their way through the social web on their iPhones, G1s and Blackberry Storms whilst the rest of us dig around for food in the gutter, shouting at the sky.  They will then be able to take pictures of this spectacle, tag it, tweet it and people will be able to OMG! at you all around the world within seconds.
