Telecom Italia Mobile only manages to impress and impress
I used to be a guru on Italy when I was at Current Analysis. I have let my knowledge on the Italian market slack slightly (nothing two weeks in Italy this summer won’t solve). But I spent a good couple of hours today reading Telecom Italia’s results and presentation. Because of pretty tough NDA clauses I can’t re-publish any of the graphics – but it looked great.
TIM is the business when it comes to mobile and there is no doubt about that. Despite immense competition in mobile, Telecom Italia Mobile has retained its market share and competitive edge. New offers such as MTV Mobile only make home grown services such as TIM Tribu for the youth market more powerful.
The converged services are all working together and with Alice, Virgilio and TIM it’s a win win offering.
Flat rate offers and family networking services formed the core of TIM’s offer in the past six months and are the reason for its strong competitive stance. These offers include TIM Dub.
TIM Club is the social networking mobile community for families.
TIM Compresso is the mother of all flat rate tariffs boasting the lion’s share of the flat rate tariff use in Italy.
All in all and without my analyst hat and with my blogger stance – TIM Rocks!!
