Rating: finally ultra-low cost mobile surfin’

From today all users of the Telia SurfPort Mobile portal will be charged a flat rate fee for mobile data tariff of SEK 9 per day. This is only EUR 1 per day. If users surf for only a few minutes or spend SEK 2 (EUR 0.2); then they will be charged so.

This is not just cheap its great. Its easy, its simple and its transparent and most of all its affordable. Telia knows how to motivate the mobile Internet and finally users can forget the fear of runaway bills.

“We know that simplicity and cost control are important to our customers. The maximum rate has been incredibly appreciated just because it gives our customers the security and freedom to use mobile services without having to think that they will run up costs,” says Håkan Dahlström, head of Mobility Services in Sweden at TeliaSonera.

But and there always is a but the press release states that the maximum rate is valid until further notice – so it might just be a New Year promotion.
