TIM gives voice services the push to talk again with TAM TAM and pushes EU Data tariff
Rating: one day this might succeed in Europe
by Bena Roberts
Push to Talk is a tender point with Orange as its PTT or PoC dream fell flat pretty early on. TIM however in Italy is still trying. It has now launched a new branded TAM TAM service for the voice feature. Activation of TAM TAM from now until July 2, 2007 is free.
In what we believe to be a more popular move TIM also pushes its FOREIGN WEB service. TIMForeign Web offers 10 MB traffic (GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA) to use every day in Europe 24×7.
But this is only for 7 days – so basically its targeting the holiday market. Countries includedin the offer include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmakr, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Holland, Norway, Polonia, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Rep., Slovenai, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
