Tiny increase in AdMob funds equates to leaner gomonews.mobi site

Well, I nearly had a heart attack when I checked out my AdMob account for the first time in about ten days. I had hit the (wait for it)
USD 5 mark.
After months of being on USD 1.22 I had jumped to USD 5.
So I went in to have a look at what had made the change and it seems that my mobile SEO targeting is paying off and the focus on quality ad links working. Also the new Decktrade mobile ad has had an impact and my latest Google campaign.
Even though the click through to the adverts is low the site traffic has increased about 1000%.
