Toda!Cell gets USD 1 million in investment for targeted mobile advertising network

Toda!Cell is a mobile advertising network that has been around for about 18 months. It got seed funding and has since secured USD 1 million in further funding from Afterdox.

What is Toda!Cell?
The premise of the mobile advertising is 100% transparency.  It shares and monitors performance down to the bare banner. Granularity is vital and this analytics are seeded into the solution.

Is this important?
Well. Toda!Cell  argues that its service promises a higher CTR (click through rate) and was already delivering “tens of millions” of ads in the US and Europe.

How?
Well, the value add is that Toda!Cell says that “tens of millions” is not a lot. The value add is that what it delivers is quality and just as we saw with Greystripe today guaranteeing a CPM – Toda!Cell can offer a higher price or return to users.

“When we decided to invest in Toda!Cell, both at its inception and again recently, we appreciated its  fresh approach to drive high performance for both mobile publishers and advertisers. We believe that this approach will attract leading brand advertisers to mobile as a premium channel. We are glad to see that Revenue is quickly increasing, but more important is the booking of advertising budgets on the network, growing more rapidly than revenues.” Said Dubi Levanon, Partner at AfterDox and Board Member at Toda!Cell.

What we think?
What Toda!Cell is suggesting is an instant display based search focused ad network. It sounds very similar to the patent that JumpTap just won and I am going to email the CEO Moshe Vaknin today for a more detailed overview.
