Rating: Call me!
I feel a strange fondness to Truphone after it “up’d the revolution and took T-Mobile to court”.
So I thought I would blog the company today and its new Facebook application that I will try out today.
In fact, talking about Facebook I was tagged in a photo on Facebook by Philippe DeWost using the Qipit new application which was rather cool.
But back to Truphone. The new Facebook app is called Call Me and it will enable a free phone call to whichever phone their friend has chosen – so free calls to anyone on Facebook.
So, I will check it out and report back but IMHO VoIP is cheap and cheery! Not the best for business – but if IM and other services are added to the voice solution the market is still in its infancy and anything can happen.
