Rating: Won its category in Future Mobile Awards from Juniper
The winners of six ‘Future Mobile Awards’ were announced this week [June 18th 2012] as given by the awards’ sponsor – UK based research and analyst company, Juniper Research. The important award for mobile advertising was won this year by Greece’s Velti. Also highly commended in this category were inMobi and Millenial Media. The Future Mobile Awards are given to companies that Juniper believes have made significant progress within their sector during the previous year, and are now poised to make considerable market impact in the future.Juniper says that Velti’s wide mobile advertising footprint and flexible advertising platform have led to continued success over the past 12 months.
The judges said that Velti’s, “mGage technology is a highly flexible offering campaign management tools as well as access to the MobClix ad exchange.
Velti enables its customers to deliver across several channels from one platform and the flexibility of this platform has been key to the company’s success.”
“The first half of 2012 has been one of the most exciting years to date in the mobile advertising ecosystem,” commented Alex Moukas, CEO with Velti.
“As brands, agencies and publishers strive to engage with their consumers, Velti is committed to not only helping clients reach their target audiences via mobile, but also engage and create powerful customer loyalty programs,” Moukas continued.
The award winners in the other categories were as follows: -Mobile Gambling – Paddy Power; Mobile Adult – Manwin; Mobile Games – EA Mobile; Mobile Dating – Match.com; and Mobile TV – AT&T.
Brandon Reti, mobile product manager for Manwin, which tool the award for Adult Services, commented, “For the past three years, we have fully invested in developing our strength on all mobile platforms.

Also highly commended in the Adult category were Cherry Media and Pink Visual.
