The guys at the Wall Street Journal say that Google wants to be the Ad player on Verizon. But Microsoft is cutting a sweeter deal (very normal and usual in mobile advertising).
Is there an underlining secret story here that I am missing? If anyone can clarify… please do.

So it thinks getting a higher percentage of ineffective Microsoft ads is better than getting a lower percentage of highly successful Google ads.
