Verizon
John Harrobin , VP, Marketing & Digital Media, Verizon Wireless, has just told the audience that the carrier is to extend its find that tune service that it launched last year. He criticised those who thought that impulse buying music meant hearing a song on the radio and downloading online. He argues that music sales via mobile are about rediscovering old stuff as well as finding new songs.

To use the service, the user justs holds their phone close to a speaker kicking out the music and then who and what it is gets sent to your phone, along with the option of downloaded the song or buy ringback or ringtones from the track.

The addition that will be added in the next three months are:

• Verizon says it is the only provider to allows customers to buy both in a single click.

• users can also request that the song is sent to their PC too so that when they get home they can add it to playlist and/or burn it.
