OK, I have been in the US 4 days now with my Cingular device and my Virgin device. The Virgin customer care was brilliant at the start – but now actually Cingular has provided me with stronger network coverage, voice quality and battery life on the device.

The MARBL dies (battery life) after one day if it’s not charged. Also a couple of times I pressed to hard with my ear on the phone and the whole phone switched off! This hasn’t happened to me for years.

Sorry Cingular for slating you before; Virgin – you have the customer care in the bag but your devices need better battery life. It put me off using the MARBL before the Motorola. Moto might have been ugly – but it worked very very well.
