Visual mobile search Picapage emerges out of BETA

by: admin Friday, January 12th, 2007

Rating: no scrolling

Picapage is the mobile only search solution available on Windows Mobile 5 (WM5) devices and Symbian 9.1, 9.2. The company has been operatating a beta service for a few months now and has just had a low key launch of its services.

We put the search to the test and were pleasantly surprised by the visual impact of the offer. Instead of searching or scrolling the search results appear as small icons called Favicons, displayed on the left hand side. Users can use the navigation pen to click on the icon and avoid scrolling altogether.
