I was once a prepaid user and my biggest obstacle was billing instantly or paying for a top up without having to type in my credit card number in a public place and I never remembered the PIN. But now in Australia Vodafone has enabled PayPal billing.

Basically – from the Vodafone site you get a PayPal button where you can log on or register and buy a top up and get an SMS recharge credit or PIN.

Payment options for prepay are vital. PayPal is very popular so this might encourag more users to buy top-ups or top-up more regularly.
