Vodafone Germany launches MediaSolutions department
Rating: mediasolutions means more mobile advertising

Vodafone is pushing forward with its media strategy and is creating a new MediaSolutions department. Burkhard Leimbrock is the new director. The aim of the new department is to develop interactive marketing for Vodafone live! which boasts 3.5 million unique users and 450 million page views per month.
This department will take over existing collaborations with companies such as Daimler Chrysler. New services such as mobile couponing and radio spots will also find their way onto Vodafone live! The new department aims to strengthen it collaboration with ad agency Gruner + Jahr.
What this means?
Vodafone is going full steam ahead with mobile advertising in Germany and big podcasts; TV and mobile coupon or barcode services are on the way.
