Vodafone Spain chooses Amobee to launch mobile advertising

Vodafone Spain will be using Amobee Media Systems advertising solution to insert interactive ads into Vodafone Live! Amobee describes its involvement as a “ key element in Vodafone Spain’s Mobile Marketing Discover Programme”. Ten brands will be participating including Heineken, Nestlé, Atrapalo.com and Linea Directa. Later developments will include ad-funded mobile gaming, TV, video and messaging.

Well, unlike the trumpeted deal with Gruner & Jahr in Germany earlier this year, at least Vodafone Spain seems to have taken the precaution of having some advertisers lined up first.

About time vodaphone starts getting serious about advertising. Good for free or cheaper content for users, better for their bottom line. Investors and end users will gain. Amobee is the smart choice with their success in France, Czech and UK. Now how about Germany ?
