WeatherBug launches elite iPhone application
About 3 years ago I would jibe and joke at Weather companies that boasted they were the cream of the crop in terms of mobile content. 3 years on, there is not a day that goes past when I don’t look at my iPhone and check the weather application.
Quite simply – the weather (next to the check for Speed Camera) iPhone application simply rocks.
So what is new?
Well Weatherbug has sexed up the iPhone application with:
Full radar animation – six additional contour layers – infared satellite – humidity – air pressure and wind speed.
From the press release:
“With more than two million downloads to date since our original launch, the WeatherBug iPhone and iPod touch application has been a winner with customers worldwide,” said Chris Brozenick, vice president and general manager of WeatherBug Mobile. “Now, with new animated radar capabilities and additional layers of weather content, customers can have an even more interactive and personal experience while receiving truly live, local weather conditions for their home or thousands of locations around the globe.”
What we think?
Raindrops keep falling on my head, just like it used to … before I had my Weatherbug in my bed….
(oh dear, I better stop there!).
