WeROK adds more devices to its free mobile application network

werok WeROK today announced a 10 device expansion to the number of Nokia devices it supports. Among the new devices is the extremely sexy N86.

Who are WeROK?

WeROK is an excellent idea, and one that I hope goes far. It automatically detects free WiFi points near your phone, and connects to it. It then offers mobile services including games, TV and social networking – all completely ad-supported. It’s essentially a completely free mobile portal.

The new additions mean WeROK is now available on the following Nokia models: E51, E55, E60, E61, E61i, E63, E65, E66, E70, E71, E75, E90, N78, N79, N80, N81, N81 8GB, N82, N85, N86, N92, N93, N93i, N95, N95 8GB, N96, 5630, 5800, 6710, N97

What we think?

I’ve called WeROK a brave experiment before, and I meant it. But if the experiment is to be a success, it really needs to get onto more than just one platform. I would have thought Android would be the spiritual home of a service like this.
