Rating: more questions than answers

The Yellow Pages Association in the US has relaunched its Local Search Guide with a new mobile section and has released these figures from a poll it conducted concerning how people use search on mobile:
    • 66% search for local business listings
    • 37% use free directory assistance/enquiries
    • 17% use SMS most frequently to find information
    • 12% say they use downloadable search applications to find local information
    • 34% report not using mobile search because the experience is frustrating.

The 66% might make Yellow Pages feel great, but the 34% is the real passion-killer.
