Wind offers 800,000 i-mode subscribers Seat PG directory services via mobile local search

m-spatial ahs deployed its Local Search and Discovery Engine (LSDE) to Wind in Italy. SeatPagine Gaille is equivalent to the Yellow and White Pages directory services. These services will now be available on the Wind in Italy’s i-mode and WAP sites. Wind in Italy boast 800,000 i-mode users and 14 million WAP users.

What we think
Local search is blossoming slowly but surely and directories seem to be the “yellow brick road” way into mobile for many companies. Boring services such as yellow pages and the weather are winning in the battle of delivering what users want right now.
