Wyless appoints new Group CEO
Wyless Group Holding SA today announced that Rami Avidan has been appointed Group CEO from 1 November 2008.
Mr. Avidan has acted as a non-executive board director of Wyless Group for several years. As Group CEO he will have direct responsibility for all Wyless operations globally. Mr. Avidan previously served as COO of Cryptzone AB, a Swedish listed company.
Mr. Avidan stated, “Wyless is experiencing significant year-on-year global growth in the M2M marketplace in connections and revenues, which are currently double that of last year. This growth is being driven by the benefits that our customers are achieving from our managed services, which enables them to reduce their cost of deploying and managing their assets around the world. This gives our customers a better total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) as they can more quickly deploy and easily manage their business-critical applications.
“I am pleased and very excited to be given the opportunity to be a part of the Wyless success story and to position Wyless as a market leader over the next two years.”
Wyless plc Chairman, Michael Jeffries, welcomed Rami to the business and added, “We are delighted that Rami has joined Wyless as Group CEO. His professional and industry experience will be invaluable in taking the Wyless business to the next level.”
Wyless Group Holding is the parent company of the expanding Wyless Mobile Data Network Group, with offices in the UK, Boston, Gothenburg and Malaga.
