Xero Mobile to ROK?

Question to Annie Turner, Director BKI Media and Editor GoMo News: Did you rate Xero Mobile?
Answer: not really. Too early to market, not enough ad-meat. Nifty idea though.

Question two: Annie what do think of ROK
Answer: interesting, but can’t quite position it. Goes from being all about TV to adding comics and data and often seems likes its desperate to be the jack of all trades.

Question three: what do you think? Marriage for a Green Card?

Answer: to be fair. ROK’s marketing has been awful, but the company can rock.. The company should be bigger than it is in the minds of the consumer and also peers. So they are great in Asia but they have to ramp up deals in Europe and the US. Xero Mobile has the marketing but perhaps not the business planning than ROK has. It might work.

It might not. But ROK Mobile needs marketing backbone and this might be it.
