Yahoo and 4Info in text ad trial? Do we care?

I have seen so many articles on Yahoo! and 4Info doing a text ad trial. OMG. Text ad trials from mobile advertising started years ago. Every man and their dog are doing it. Is this news? Is it even exciting.

Now let me think about that one.

All this shows is that the market is on its bum. Where 4Info a mobile search/ SMS answers company goes to a bigger competitor for help in marketing. The bigger competitor (Yahoo!) that also offers mobile search and Answers servcies - but perhaps does it better.
