The PR that came out of Yahoo! this morning is glorifying oneSearch. According to VP of Connected life Marco Boerries, “”We believe Yahoo! oneSearch finally gives consumers what they want - instant answers and not just links to Websites, but this is only the beginning. Opening Yahoo! oneSearch to the universe of mobile Internet content and services provided by other publishers will give consumers even more instant answers and information right at their fingertips”.

OK we have put Yahoo! oneSearch to test and its OK. But it is not brilliant. Its at the start and not the end of a revolution of mobile data, discovery and content.

Then the press release states that Yahoo! will allow mobile site submissions; create a media directory and establish a mobile content engine for classified listings.
Well that’s nothing new is it?
