Yahoo! to launch mobile content search according to our favourite SEO Principle.

This doesn’t actually come as surprise as Google has already announced that it is creating similar. In fact, Nokia also wants to do the same and it won’t be a surprise if MSN, AOL and ASK do too.

This is a difficult one as I haven’t heard this from the horses mouth – but it is to be expected. Will it be a threat to white label search engines? Well – I suppose so; but at the end of the day its more of a threat to mobile operators that will be wanting to launch their own similar services. Yahoo! won’t bend to the operator brand but that is the business model of white label search engines.

All I can say on top of that is that Yahoo! etc. should be wary of the new GoMo News consumer brand to be launched in the next few weeks - because its content search with a difference.
