Rating: SMS search in wrapping paper

We tore the Yellow Pages mobile search apart in the January issue of The Mobile Search Analyst. Now the Yellow Pages in Singapore has launched a new search - branded precisionSearch.
With a name like that it sounded, splendid. But unfortunately, its an SMS based search for the Singapore area. Other new add-ons include call to connect and a rating function.

From the press release: “The integrity of our content is key in all our product development initiatives. At Yellow Pages, we pride ourselves on the value of our intellectual property and stay relevant by leveraging on appropriate technology and applications to help fulfil the search requirements of the consumers in the most convenient and efficient manner,” said Yellow Pages Singapore CEO Goh Sik Ngee.

What we think?Boring!
