YOOSE & Mobsta form alliance for ‘hyper-local’ mobile ad sales

Rating: British Summer of mobile ad opportunities

YOOSE which claims to be a global hyper-local mobile ad network has just announced that  it has formed a sales partnership with UK-based premium mobile ad network Mobsta. The consequence is new ‘hyper-local’ service called MobGeo which aims to bring the benefits of ‘precision’ mobile consumer targeting to UK brands and agencies. “The YOOSE platform simply delivers unprecedented hyper-local reach,” claims John Scorah, a co-founder of Mobsta Networks. He adds, “In terms of monthly ad requests that can be qualified at a hyper-local level, the MobGeo service will be able to tap hundreds of millions in the UK alone. The opportunity we can extend to brands and agencies running nationwide campaigns with hyper-local relevance is just phenomenal.”YOOSE says its platform enables clients to create, manage and analyse branded mobile banner campaigns online.

The company claims that in addition to ease-of-use and an ongoing insight into campaign performance, its platform makes agency expectations for ROI campaign analytics a doddle.

Apparently, early response to the MobGeo service has been good. It appears, for example,  to have resonated strongly with UK-based auto dealerships, entertainment companies that are promoting touring bands, national retail chains and media companies.

Such operations have all been particularly quick to identify the value and application in their brand engagement plans.

The UK is currently gearing up for a hot Summer of celebrations and events. The list includes the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee; the 2012 Summer Olympic; and the Paralympic Games.

On top of this is , of course, a nationwide music festivals spanning May to September.

So brands should have a wealth of opportunities to connect with a mobile-savvy audience via their favourite mobile apps and sites.

“As our technology is scalable on a global basis we can anticipate that with time, some MNCs will make the leap to pan-European hyper-local campaigns and even global hyper-local campaigns. ” argues Christian Geissendoerfer, CEO with YOOSE.

“It’s incredibly exciting to see how [businesses] will interpret their brand values with location-based mobile advertising and run highly imaginative and compelling campaigns to a receptive British consumer base,” he added.
