Zvents Partners with YELLOWPAGES.COM for Local Search, Gets into YP iPhone App

Zvents, the local search and advertising network, and YELLOWPAGES.COM announced a partnership to power unique local search capabilities. The YELLOWPAGES.COM local search iPhone application, powered by Zvents and announced last week, is available at the Apple® App Store; the app ranks among the Top 25 downloads.

What Do We Think?

Nobody wants to be a pure play any more. We all need to mashup and partner to provide things to the user. Sharing knowledge pools and hopefully some revenue is also a good idea. And having an attachment to an Apple iPhone application to boot, can’t hurt to generate buzz.
