Keynote line up for BDMF ’14 extended to include Argos’ James Finch
Hands up those old enough to remember the brilliant excuse for visiting Brighton, England in the shape of the Telecoms Managers Association (TMA) exhibition? It’s been long dead but here’s another jolly good reason for visiting England’s gay capital. The Brighton Digital Marketing Festival (BDMF) 2014. Even better rather than the stormy days of November as was the case with TMA, this one is being held in the much more pleasant month of September . The organisers (Purepromoter – trading as Pure360) have lined up a pretty impressive array of speakers. Indeed, they’re delighted to announce that James Finch, Argos’ customer & digital insight manager will be joining the list of keynote speakers. Plus there’s a party to rival the TMA’s.
Long serving members of the telecoms community will remember that Alcatel (in the days before it combined with Lucent) used to host a fish & chip supper on Brighton Pier.
Well in the BDMF’s case, there’s a funky party at MyHotel where you can do a spot of networking to round off the day. Highly civilised, it starts at 4 pm!
Keynote sessions include: Dave Chaffey from Smart Insights who will be talking on Digital Marketing Trends in 2015 – what will really matter?
Then there’s the Financial Times’ (FT’s) Mark Beckworth, speaking on keeping audiences engaged in 2014 and beyond.
As mentioned above, James Finch from Argos will be talking about Social Insights: The High Street Revolution.
The day kicks off with breakfast served at the Brighton Dome, Corn Exchange from 8.30 am on 18th September 2014. Tickets cost around £50 so try getting yours from here.
