OK. Finally after weeks of wanting to burst into tears and pretend I was at the Oscars – I can announce that I have my foot back in the corporate world.
What does that mean?
Well basically, I have been in Mobile Search since 2004. I founded GoMo News in 2007. But have continued to work design, think, develop ideas for the mobile web on the side.
In April 2008, I got struck by the mother of all ideas when I was optimising a site for a mobile 2.0 media company. Not knowing if my ideas were any good I sent them to friends at major mobile search engines that I have worked and known for the past few years.
I was told that the ideas were good and worked and I should proceed. After receiving the costs back from a few developers to proceed – I realised I needed financial backing, investment or a technical powerhouse to accept the idea.
Today, I can announce a new venture with the tssg.org.
What is the TSSG?
You can find out more at the website –but basically it is about 140 Irish technical gurus all sat together in the idyllic Waterford town 160 KM south of Dublin. Other ventures include Zinadoo, Muzu (recently featured on Tech Crunch) and FeedHenry.
I can’t go into details of our venture –but I can say that a new company has been born. The Company name is Visibility Mobile and the brand will be Go Mobile SEO.
This is not a marketing company, but a technical or technology based business. IP for the services are being secured now and there are some very ambitious rollout and strategic plans.
I will be the Founder and President but there is a new team in place that can drive the business to the next level. We already have four fixed employees with two more to be announced and two very well known tech savvy advisors as well.
What team?
Paul Savage – CEO; Sinead Quealy – COO; Niall Cusack – CTO (watch fun video I made in Ireland this week here). More people to be announced soon.
What about GoMo?
Don’t worry readers – GoMo stays. This is my baby and I am going to continue to drive it to a very successful mobile business to business blog. But Mobile SEO Newswill change. I will write about mobile advertising companies, brands, etc more on GoMo and Mobile SEO News will start to follow the success and triumphs of the new business moving forward.
So, GoMo News will only be richer.

Good luck with your venture Ms President.
Bena, wishing you every success, Madam President.
Let’s celebrate our good news with a glass of bubbly Friday in London.
Andrew
