Nokia Launches Corporate Blogging

GoMo News on Wheels! has had it’s challenges. First, a flight redirected to Albuquerque due to an ill flight attendant prevented video from the GoMo News Blender at the Hard Rock Cafe. Next, Flixwagon and the N95 8MB don’t play well together.  So, we needed to secure other phones. Moral: sometimes the magic works and then others times not so much.

Yesterday things improved a good deal. The first interview with Mark Squires introduced Nokia’s new Social Media Communications Group, and just before the interview Mark received word that Nokia’s new corporate blog will go live this week. In addition, he announced Nokia Conversations, a blog to interact with owners of Nokia devices, written by my buddy, Charlie Schick. I can’t imagine anyone better to lead Nokia’s official entry into the blogosphere.

Dear Nokia, Welcome to Social Media! We look forward to the conversation.

Great interview. And thanks for the kind words.

I think Mark might have mixed things up between our internal blog stuff and external stuff.

Yeah, our site is finally up and all, but we have a wee review round and hope to be live before the end of the month (if all goes well, natch).

Then, the gloves will be off and we’ll be making this simple mud hut (watch video for reference) into a nice place to have fun with.

Thanks!

Hi Charlie,

Thanks for stopping by and making the correction. Loved your mud hut analogy! :-) We all await your debut.
