Comverse and IBM offer mobile operators a helping hand

IBM and Comverse obviously feel they have a lot of help they can sell to mobile operators in Europe. The two companies have joined forces to create a “Centre of Excellence” in France, which will offer its services to operators globally.

SingTel taps Comverse to provide targeted ads based on user info

SingTel has selected Comverse HUB Mobile Advertising for it’s new ad service. Comverse will analyse subscriber info and location, and deliver ads through multiple media and channels.
It’s an opt-in service, with users volunteering profile information. Subscribers to the service get free services, discounts and other benefits.

Comverse launches missed mobile call service in Ukraine

MTS Ukraine has launched Comverse’s services to monetise unanswered mobile calls. The Total Call Completion Suite uses text messages to highlight missed calls, and sends notifications when a previously unavailable person is free to talk.
