Another mobile application tops 10 million downloads over GetJar
It seems that announcing when you’ve hit 10 million on GetJar is “the thing” to do. Well ok, I would too. It’s pretty impressive. The latest to announce this accomplishment is mobile IM and chat client mig33. China’s largest provincial mobile operator, Communications Corporation Guangdong (CMCC GD), currently has 2 million subscribers. It expects to have 3 million by the end of the year – driven mainly by it’s mobile content service, Baihe. The service, powered by 724 solutions, provides video, news and entertainment content. Virgin launches Vmusic in India – free music has never been worth so little
QuickPlay and Virgin Mobile today announced a new music service for the Indian market. Vmusic will be the first unlimited service for full-track music downloads from Virgin Mobile in India. Quickplay will be providing the infrastructure for the service, which will be free to subscribers… for the first 12 months, anyway.
